When my uncle Ken passed away unexpectedly, my family realized how hard it is to plan something that truly honors someone you love. We wanted to celebrate his life, not just mourn it. That experience stuck with me and my dad. So as we walked the Camino de Santiago together shortly after his passing, somewhere along those quiet miles, Last Hurrah was born.
Our founders
- Mary Skinner, Co-Founder, Daughter. A graphic designer and storyteller who spent two decades making life's biggest moments beautiful, first in advertising, then in weddings.
- Rick Boyko, Co-Founder, Father. An Advertising Hall of Fame inductee and former Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy & Mather. He's built his career on one core skill: finding the emotional truth inside a story and making sure it lands.
